• How does something like that happen?

• But I’m supposed to think this is all on an even playing field?

• This is what they have chosen over the uniqueness of all LIVE talk radio or TV shows.
• They are maximizing ad safety.

• It looks similar to Father, the fabric of the cassock is fake, where is the reflection on his eye glasses? Look at the top left and right hand corners. They just repeat over and over for clicks and likes.
• This is mechanical coordinated identity theft.
• Tucker didn’t start with 160 subscribers and work his way up. It pretty much happened overnight. From millions to millions from TV to YT.
• The same thing happened with Candace Owens. Millions that watched her on Ben Shapiro’s platform just followed her over to YT. Again that is millions to millions.
• What if you don’t start with a million?
• For Your Information Candace Owens just hit 6 million followers yesterday.
• The danger that has been revealed is incomplete is the point.

• They don’t have any intelligence to sell you that they didn’t steal.

• How can you feed ethics and a moral foundation into an AI?
• It isn’t human so it couldn’t have that foundation.
• Effective altruism is utilitarianism reinvented by people who have apparently never encountered Bernard Williams, or Derek Parfit’s own agonized wrestling with the implications of consequentialist reasoning, or the two centuries of philosophical literature explaining why naive expected-value calculations produce monstrous outcomes when applied without limiting principles. The EA movement walked itself into the Sam Bankman-Fried catastrophe because it adopted a moral framework without understanding its failure modes. What happens when you skip the coursework and go straight to the final exam.

• The Jews who are running Ukraine and the ones that have some power in Russia, how come they aren’t afraid of Russia having nukes?

• Parents are holding their sons in particular back in the 8th grade so they have a better chance of getting into a good high school sports program. That extra year gives them one full year to get faster, add bulk and muscle and learn a little more about whatever game he is excelling at.
• You are teaching them that education is not important.
• You are teaching them life is all about athletics.
• These are probably the same parents that spend thousands during summer for ‘travel’ ball.
• If I say all time home run hitter, what name comes to your mind?
• Babe Ruth most of you.
• Did you know he actually wasn’t a great child athlete.
• These guys didn’t train like our young men train now.
• There will be those that are just born natural athletes.
• There will be those that will just enjoy playing sports.
• THERE IS NOTHING wrong with that!
• I enjoyed playing golf but I knew I would never be joining the PGA.
• Sports are to teach honor, community, camaraderie and ethics.
• Is holding a child back the ethical thing to do?

• In practice, it is a machine for generating justifications for the concentration of power by people who have decided they are the ones best positioned to steward the future of the species. How convenient.

• There is an army of middle American women that will click on these stories.
• The same is true with Trump but in a much bigger way.

Is this, perhaps without Jones’ express intent to do so, a bit of the old, simple but fervent American religiosity breaking through in this act to the masters of the universe? The people Owens grew up around would have thought pretty dimly of this kind of thing, but that’s not something he pauses to consider. I think that’s a pity. Ronson at the end shows up again as the deradicalization guru who helps him leave the cult.
