Why Obama & Congress Should Fix American Before Attempting to Fix Egypt

2011 Mike Church

Hi folks its Mike Church with todays Church Doctrine.

If you are following the news from Egypt you have probably heard that the United States needs to support the protestors. One writer at National Review actually said that the United States needs to put the moral weight of the United States behind the protestors. President Obama tried to do that by claiming that rights mention in our first Amendment are universal which I assume means that americans cant satisfy themselves with forcing the several states to incorporate the Bill of rights into their state constitutions so for an encore well force the Egyptians to incorporate it!?

I would like to know exactly what this moral weight is and is there anything else it entitles us to try and force other countries to do. Wait, did you just say demand Egypt re-open the internet?

Correct, and while thats a nice thing to say it would be even better if Obama and his pals Senator Lieberman and Collins would follow their own edicts and stop trying to pass the Obama kill switch for the entire internet.

Someone should ask the President why Egyptians are entitled to certain rights that American citizens are having to fight to hold on to? Until we can get an answer on that Id like to propose that Congress pass a kill switch that lovers of liberty can activate: to shut Congress down and the White House down.
