Mike:  Hello, Wayne, how you doing?

Caller Wayne:  Good morning.  Normally I agree with a good bit of what you say, but this morning I did have to call and pick a fight or have a bone to pick with you.  I’m a recently retired law enforcement officer from MTA.  I do have some concerns with all the anti-police sentiment.  It just seems like it’s on the rise.  You have seemed to join the chorus this morning.  Some of what you’re saying just isn’t so.

Mike:  Such as?

Caller Wayne:  Your friend with the DUI, you’re saying that the field sobriety tests are designed for you to fail it.  That’s just not true.

Mike:  Yes, it is.

Caller Wayne:  It is not.  I’ve released tons of people over the years that pass the field sobriety test.

Mike:  I said that there are exceptions to every rule, Wayne.

Caller Wayne:  No, you said it’s designed for everybody to fail.

Mike:  I did say that there are exceptions to every rule and miracles have happened where some people, if they haven’t had anything or a drop of cough syrup have passed the test.  This is true.

Caller Wayne:  No, see, that’s not true.  That’s absolutely not true.

Mike:  Okay.

Caller Wayne:  People who’ve had one or two —
