Hey Obama & Pawlenty! Its The Economic Planning Stupid!

Hi folks its Mike Church with todays Church Doctrine.

After the latest jobs report you are hearing all the predictable hemming and hawing that emanates from inside the moat surrounding Mordor on the Potomac River. Dear Leader Chairman MaObama drones on about waking up everyday, committed to creating jobs for the unemployed. If I were unemployed I would be shouting Hey Obama, thanks but no thanks, youve helped enough already.

Then the Republicans who want to take Obamas place weigh in with their tax cutting schemes which may have some short term positive impacts but arent what really needs to be addressed: Government Spending, financed by borrowed or printed money which then devalues the currency.

Add to this the mountains of new regulations issued daily by unelected bureaucrats which not only drive up expenses but also kill investemnt because of the uncertainty they bring. Will the rules change tomorrow? How about next week? Or will they change whenever a new czar or Overlord is appointed?

And what about the stifling impact that government takeovers of the banking and auto manufacturing industries, mortgage and student loan services and soon the medicals services industry? Unless all these things are either seriously altered or abolished then our economic future is certain and its certainly awful: Chronic, long term unemployment, a continued outsourcing of manufacturing jobs and expanding debt and deficits become permanent fixtures in our future.

Having said all this it seems to me that what is needed at all levels of government are leaders who will promise to stop the central planning and takeovers already underway and then begin to repeal the governments economic meddling that began 100 years ago. Now thats change we can believe in, real gold and silver change.
