• I dont’ have a degree in Middle East studies but my family comes from where the Kurds are in Turkey.
• My family is Assyrian.
• I have Google searches set for Syrians and the town where my family comes from.
• There are still a lot of Syrians there. The Kurds are “kinda’” protecting them but there is so much history there.
• Democracy simply won’t work there. Those people truly do have a heard mentality. They do NOT think for themselves. They go ‘with the flow’ so to speak.
• It is just a horrible mess over there.
• I’m just shocked that people don’t know more about the Turks.
• The genocide happened before the holocaust. They saw what the Turks were doing and they assisted them.
