Here Comes And There Goes The Sun

2011 Mike Church

Hey folks, its Mike Church with today’s Church Doctrine.

George Harrison famously sang the words Here comes the sun in an uplifting tune about possibilities. Who could have known then, that the sun would be used to steal billions of dollars from American taxpayers? By now most folks are well aware of the Solyndra, solar panel scandal but what you may not be aware of is the fraud perpetrated by the CONCEPT of solar power. You see, the photovoltaic cell was created way back in 1893. Since that time little has been learned that can increase the output capacity of the device simply because of the physics involved.

Then there is the problem of what to do with the energy created. There is no way to store it. Why then, would you invest billions of dollars in an endeavor where the market based uses are already being filled with solar powered watches, calculators and even exterior lighting? The answer is that few investors would which is why Solyndra and now 2 other companies have sought and received taxpayer bailouts from Obamas energy department. This is either representative of criminal collusion or incredibly naive business practices, neither of these inspires much confidence in getting back any of the $2 BILLION, taxpayers invested.

Let me state that I am all for solar, wind, tide, amoeba gases any green energy that can be brought to market by private initiative with private capital. Of course that kind of green investment has already been made while the governments green investments are bleeding red and need a whole lot more of George Harrisons sun shone on their deceit.
