Mike uses the parallel of something as simple as blue jeans to define a point that America’ssystem of a free market where individuals had their own freedom to buyand wear what they want as apposed to daily life being mandated to youfrom a dictator. The Russians got a taste of what the idea of a freepeople feels like and demanded for the barriers to be torn down.
