Background

Mandeville, LA  –  I ran Mrs. Hillary Clinton’s DNC coronation speech through the Flecsh-Kincaid text analyzer to gauage what audience she was speaking to, measured by years of education it takes to understand the speech or work. Recall that Thomas Jefferson’s inaugural State of the Union address required 18 years of education (see below) to grasp while President Obama’s 2012 SOTU required only a 7th grade education. Here are Mrs Clinton’s scores:

While Trumpzilla Roared to 10th graders – Now, let’s run the same experiment with Donald Trump’s acceptance speech and learn that Trump spoke to a more educated, erudite audience than the doyenne of the elite did. Now, who is it that is speaking and pandering to knuckle dragging neanderthals? It turns out that the racist, nativist, bigots supporting Trump are actually more educated than the baby-killers lusting for an LGBTQ Presidency are.

For comparison, here is Thomas Jefferson’s first State of The Union Speech, run through the same testing device, note that Jefferson was speaking to Congress, as the Constitution requires, and thus, the men we call Founders would have needed 18 years of formal education to understand his words. Is it any wonder that the American experiment is now in its death throes that the allegedly elite, but, proven to be imbeciles, driving it to that grave cannot anticipate?
