Citizen Trump Voter!! You Will Obey Your Unelected Cultural Overlords, Citizen! – The incredibly prideful attempt to shame VP Pence and by proxy President Trump into renouncing their election and the alleged atrocities planned against “diversity” is feted by the NY Post among others but they miss the mark. What is really at play here is the secular hordes of Mammon fear that this greatest system for the ruin of souls ever created might be put into neutral for a few years. Note I don’t say “reversed” but just made to coast on its own noxious fumes. In developing a repeatable description for these modern Manicheans I propose: Godless, heartless, soulless, merciless, jobless corpus of sin strutting, whatever sexual’s. I may have left a few choice nouns and adjectives out but we’ll work them in as we witness what will surely become an angrier and because of what motivates this apostasy, an existential commitment to not just sin but to public and infamous acts of sin i.e. they aren’t content to just stain their souls in private but insist the slander against God must take place a. publicly  then b. be witnessed by those revulsed by the sin and then c. accepted and then promoted by those in b. This is without precedent in any historical moment in Christianity that I can find and demonstrates the seriousness with which Christians must view this threat. And make no mistake that when Mammon’s claimed souls are at stake, a violent response is forthcoming.

Millennials Have Chosen Their Religion And It Lost On November 8th – Pope Leo XIII tried to warn the then nascent modern world that the rise of constitutions and organized democratic governments were a diabolical replacement for the ancient and traditional governments of Christendom. Those governments if they can even be called that, largely got the Order correct and brought into existence all the beauty and majesty of “western civilization” we have so systematically tried to destroy. If Mitt For Brains Romney is Trump’s Secretary of State, We Can’t Secede Soon Enough – NBC News claims they have a “source” that tells them that Mitt Romney will meet this weekend with president-elect Trump to discuss becoming Secretary of State. Folks if this is true, then we cannot make plans to secede soon enough. Romney’s warped, Israel-First view of the world almost guarantees new wars in the Mid-East and all manner of other foolish acts of “American Exceptionalism”. Heaven help us….

The Predicted End of “White, Christian America” Has Been Postponed – Will “white, Christian America” expire on the vine as so many have predicted, giving way to a minority-majority population that will rule over and then eliminate the Christian part of the equation? Philip Jenkins thinks that because inter-marrying between white-blacks-latinos and Asians is still on the rise, that there will demographically be, no “white” part of the equation. Jenkins thinks the Christian part will survive but it will be altered and a minority but will be a large minority. “Whites are not going away, and nor are Christians. One great effect of the 1965 Immigration Act was to expand vastly the range of ethnic groups in the U.S., who were overwhelmingly Christian in origin. That is true obviously of Mexicans, but also of Asian-Americans and Arab-Americans. New generations of Africans trend to be fiercely Christian. The American Islamic population, for instance, was and remains tiny as a proportion of the national total, and it will continue to do so.” The problem with the analysis is that they aren’t “Christian” because the Christian, in following our namesake, Christ, doesn’t see races, he/she sees eternal souls, each in a struggle to find the path through “the narrow gate”. Pearce sees other threats to “freedom” in how we spend our money as well. “If freedom means that I need to start thinking about the political, economic, or environmental ramifications of my chosen lifestyle, freedom can go to hell. If freedom means that I need to be aware that the things that I buy and the things that I do come at a cost to others, I’m not interested in counting the cost. If freedom means that I need to know that every dollar I spend is effectively the casting of an economic and political vote that makes the world a better or worse place for my neighbours, it’s time to forget about my neighbours.”

Why should I not hate or condemn what is totally other than myself?” Of course the answer lies in the fact that most of those reading this are professing Christians and we are required by Commandment and Our Lord’s example to accept BUT, as we learned in the case of importing millions of Syrian refugees, we are NOT required to place our culture or cult in harm’s way.

Ron Paul To President Trump: Beware Being DeceptiCONNED – Wisdom is sometimes confused with experience and that is understandable because having a measure of the former requires a greater measure of the latter. Ron Paul has ample supplies of both and his experience informs his wise advice to President Trump: don’t get DeceptiCONNED. Paul points out that the Pentagon/Defense/Bomb-Maker Security Blanket budget does not need an increase and that our “military” does not need to be rebuilt and even if it did, the prudent course would be to recall our troops from overseas and use the savings for hardware acqusition. Paul: “Do we really need to continue spending hundreds of billions of dollars manipulating elections overseas? Destabilizing governments that do not do as Washington tells them? Rewarding those who follow Washington’s orders with massive aid and weapons sales?  Do we need to continue the endless war in Afghanistan even as we discover that Saudi Arabia had far more to do with 9/11 than the Taliban we have been fighting for a decade and a half? Do we really need 800 U.S. military bases in more than 70 countries overseas?” A true test of “draining the swamp” will thus require a rollback of the empire and its welfare state a development I pray for and will be surprised to see.

America First Was The Cry Of “Forgotten Men” Back In The 1940’s, The Trump Voters Are The New Forgotten Men – I’ve written of the origins of the “conservative movement” that track-back to those intellectuals who viewed WWII as an unjust waste of resources and human life (see my interview with Nicole Hemmer here). The rise of Trump’s popularity is, I propose, directly related to the collapse of the great grand-kids of this “conservative media”. The collapse comes in the form of the America Firsters rejecting the political order and indeed the political system as being capable of “fixing” the complete corruption of the “American System”. Trump poses a threat to this system and his defeat of 13 of this system’s best practitioners in the primaries shows the power America First is now wielding; a power, that as John Wilson points out, can end the FDR-New Deal era after a 100 year rule of tyranny.
