Specifically the president is seeking to end the abuse of the Fourteenth (14th) Amendment that originally intended to give the children of freed men & women American citizenship following the U.S. Civil War. However, leftists have for the past several decades wielded it as a weapon in order to grant citizenship to the children of the illegal alien line jumpers. Their hope so obviously now made plain is to flood the country, sow chaos, and procure a new voting block of unassimilated dependent migrants in order to seize a permanent political majority and thus power in toto.
