(Audio) Mandeville, LA – It’s true that today is Monday. AGroundhog’s Monday to be exact, a term coined by the KingDude to definethe lack of participation from you the listener on typical Mondaymornings. Welcome to a typical Monday morning. That is until our topicstopped at the plate tectonic train station – it was here that itbecame obvious that no one working on the show had any credentials toeven offer an inkling on the matter at hand. So where else would weturn? The phones.

It’s like a Free Phone Friday all over again folks, well that is once you got knee deep into the second hour of the show.It took a few inquiries to the audience before someone finally hadenough testicular fortitude to dial the numbers to The Mike ChurchShow. Enter Tom the Geologist and his explanation on what took placeunderneath it all in Japan.

Tom explains that one answer to theincrease of activity in the plates over the last few decades or so maybe directly attributed to man, and his modern marvel. Think about theEarth and it’s axis, now think about some of the construction that’staking place around the earth – like for instance the island that wascreated from nothing to become Japan’s airport. All that sand, concrete, glass, equipment, etc gets to be considerably heavy.
