The Man I Made 2nd Most Powerful On Earth Cannot Now Be Heard In Public – It’s been almost 3 years ago now, since Steve Bannon successfullyt maneuvered his way into taking over the morning drive slot on the SiriusXM Patriot Channel I had made into a top 5 listener destination on the platform. This platfom thrust Bannon into a national spotlight that ultimately landed him a consulting gig with President Trump thus making him, as Time Magazine claimed on a cover story: The 2nd Most Powerful Man In The World. You’re welcome, Steve! Now, Bannon cannot be seen in public as a result of his successful coup and fall from MAGA grace; but the latest fall is just ridiculous, Bannon gets disinvited from an event setup to embarrass him!   AND then the details:

“David Remnick [editor of New Yorker Magazine] has disinvited Bannon from the Festival. He wrote to the staff: “”I don’t want well-meaning readers and staff members to think that I’ve ignored their concerns. I’ve thought this through and talked to colleagues––and I’ve re-considered. I’ve changed my mind. There is a better way to do this.”

Wow, it sounds like Steve Bannon is infected with a plutonium based nuclear disease that threatens to wipe out any nearby population centers tehn  mystically chase down their family members and take them out too.

The Priest Who Is “Too Catholic For A Catholic Pulpit” – Across the faded purple waves of lukewarm catholicism, some brave priests are taking to their pulpits to put distance twixt themselves and the HOMOclericalism scandal and get back to the business of, get this, “saving souls”! how novel and wonderful an idea! Here’s one priest’s saga that may have landed him in the unemployment line for the time being.

Are We Watching The Creation of a Humpty Dumpty Pope? – The last 4 days have been an extraordinary example of what this monster, social media, is capable of doing to anyone stupid (or by inheritance) enough to be more famous or important. When the news broke of Archbishop Vigano’s “testimony” that Pope Francis knew about the pederasty and wanton homosexual antics of Thoedore McCarrick and the restrictions placed on him by Benedict XVI, yet Francis reinstated him with full faculties, it was only a matter of hours before the Pope was being asked to confirm or deny the report. His shocking refusal to acknowledge Vigano’s testimony poured plutonium on a nuclear reactor of Catholic outrage that is still not finished boiling up! Many clamor for the Viagno Option, Francis resigning, but as Damian Thompson points out, that is actually a perilous action few have thought through.

“And yet…if Viganò is shown to be telling the truth, and the Vicar of Christ was in league with a man he had been told was a wicked sex abuser, how can Catholics be expected to go to Mass and pray for ‘Francis, our Pope’? Dioceses and parishes will secede from Rome in some way or other, even if they stop short of schism (that is, formally rejecting the authority of the Roman pontiff). Can one blame them?

Medieval analogies notwithstanding, there is no precedent for the escalating chaos in the Catholic Church. And the individual chiefly responsible for that – whatever his degree of culpability in the case of McCarrick, and bearing in mind the failings of previous popes – is Francis.”

“Escalating chaos” is an apt description here, so the question is: when will the chaos be resolved and through what means?

I might now throw into the DeceptiCON camp a new species, DeceptiCATH. Those who sing America The Beautiful as a processional hymn and can find little wrong with today’s crop of ecclesial homosexual enablers and their mafioso style protections of same, enter George Weigel. Writing at First Things, Weigel thinks that any laity raising their voice at the now plainly evident – as in there is EVIDENCE – corruption and evil that occupies too many sacristies in Catholic ‘Muricah. Weigel…..

Truly righteous anger is focused anger, not online click-bait.”

First of all, I don’t know anyone who is in the #CatholicMeToo movement that is “decrying the entire scene”; unless this is Mr Weigel’s tell that the “scene” (what a hippy, 60’s term to use i.e. “I blew that scene, man…”), the homosexual culture one, is his 360º world. Secondly, the #CatholicMeToo movement is actually succeeding in rallying hundreds of thousands of Catholics into a prayerful solidarity I’ve never witnessed in my 26 years of being Catholic. “So why doesn’t Jeremiah write about all the good things going on in Israel? His shrill clickbaity denunciations sure give easy victories to the Evil One.”

And from the Book of Jeremia’s, the #CatholicMeToo movement can derive solace and inspiration.

“Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak to them all that I command thee. Be not afraid at their presence: for I will make thee not to fear their countenance. [18] For behold I have made thee this day a fortified city, and a pillar of iron, and a wall of brass, over all the land, to the kings of Juda, to the princes thereof, and to the priests, and to the people of the land.”

Is Capitalism Really “Boss”? – Andrew Puzder makes a statement at the Federalist today that drew my attention:

“I have good news for young Americans today. Despite what you’ve been taught, the economic system in which you live is the best system ever devised for the poor and the marginalized. It gives them power, creates the opportunities that make them prosperous, and encourages everyone who wants to get ahead to satisfy the needs of others.” [emphasis mine – MC]

Two days ago, John Horvat published a piece titled The Church and The Economy. In it, Horvat points out that today’s capitalistic economy (a vulgar description, I admit) is a system that provides the means of gathering wealth while not necessarily employing it.

The Manly Response To McCarrickGate: Restore Hatred of Sin – The lack of masculinity in the lives of the ‘Murican people has reached epic  proportions and nowhere is that more evident than in the Catholic Church of which I am a member but that is now changing. Bishop Morlino of Madison, WI diocese has issued a letter to all his flock, priests included, exhorting the faithful to a hatred…. a hatred of SIN that is; Glory be!

“If you’ll permit me, what the Church needs now is more hatred! As I have said previously, St. Thomas Aquinas said that hatred of wickedness actually belongs to the virtue of charity. As the Book of Proverbs says “My mouth shall meditate truth, and my lips shall hate wickedness (Prov. 8:7).” It is an act of love to hate sin and to call others to turn away from sin.”

FLASHBACK-In July, 2015, The Remnant Newspaper Profiled The Mike Church Show – Membah…membah!? Fast forward to November of that year and Chris writes a followup “Too Catholic For Satellite Radio”. Thanks to Papa Francis deliberate attempt to bring an end to the Catholic Church by claiming he can change dogma (the licit Death Penalty), I am becoming #Too Catholic For Lukewarm Catholic Radio. Ferrara wrote the following which we at the CRUSADE Channel studio still believe is True and pursue improving it every day.
