We Should Pursue Thought Provoking Rather Than Mind Numbing TheKingDude

(Audio) Mandeville, LA – Make sure to have your blanket, pillow, hottea and what not before you gather around the KingDude fireplace for anice little fireside chat…or at least that’s how we start today’sclip of the day. Walk alongside the Kingdude as he paints us a pictureof a favorite lunch time restaurant spot and a double Grey Goose DirtyMartini.

While at lunch Mike uses the entertainment provided, numerous ESPN channels on numerous televisions, to prove the point thatall these media options we have available to us on such a constantbasis equals nothing more than a mind numbing array of crap – with morethan likely none of it being referred to as relevant 200 years down theline.

So ladies and gentleman, what has happened here? Well, what’s happenedhere is a fundamental and ever increasing lack of culture. In fact, allow us to ask this question: Is there a higher culture? Because whatwe have is an ample supply of low culture, activity and norms that wewould be happy to trade in for something thought provoking rather thanmind-numbing. Folks, you know it’s bad when manners aren’t evenconsidered anymore, and in some cases even considered to be impolite. What would the Founders say to that?
