KY Sheriff vows to not enforce Obama’s Executive actions and becomes hero of the Right…
But is he vowing to ENFORCE the KY Constitution or the Federal Constitution? Which one would apply here? Well since the Feds were not granted power over firearms that power was RESERVED to KY, therefore KY’s BOR would be the law.
Here is KY’s BOR including their RTKBA, note the state claimed the right to ban concealed carry in 1891
The strange, sad and disturbing tale of Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o’s fictional account of a girlfriend he never had, who never existed and so never could have died
Here is the list of all 23 of Obama’s “executive actions” on “gun safety”. Some of these read like 5th graders wrote them, some read as though they were inserted to insure the entire federal edifice was served notice that “the armed citizen must become safe and rare” (quoting Bill Clinton on abortion)

So as I read the KY Consititution…does that mean that they allow unrestricted open carry?
Wil Shrader Jr. on January 20, 2013
That is how I reckon it.
That is also how I reckon it for Ohio:
“Section 4. The people have the right to bear arms for their defense and security; but standing armies, in time of peace, are dangerous to liberty, and shall not be kept up; and the military shall be in strict subordination to the civil power.” -1851
Yet I dare one to carry openly in Ohio without being harassed by government agents, probably after a neighbor alerts them.
I hope it is different in Kentucky.
