Bombshell: Fox News Tried to Convince Petraeus to Run for President ClintStroman
Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Video and Audio – Any kind of integrity that Fox News had before this story is gone, the supposed “Fair and Balanced” is completely out the window… Fox News, specifically Roger Ailes, tried to enlist General Petraeus as a presidential candidate in Spring of 2011. There’s even an audio recording of the conversation between Fox News analyst K.T. McFarland and General Petraeus where he says he has not interest in running for President and that Rupert Murdoch is after him as well to “bankroll” the campaign. Here’s the story in question at the Washington Post by Bob Woodward, listen to the audio highlight for more and be sure and check out today’s Founders TV for the full story. Be sure and grab a Founders Pass if you don’t already have one!

I can attest that I know FIRST HAND just exactly how they are not fair and balanced. They made the choice to marginalize my (Independent) campaign and promote my Republican opponent. It didn’t matter anyway as the Democrat still won, but they showed their colors to me and my supporters…
Why do they bother pretending? They’re just as bad as MSNBC, but on the other swing of the pendulum.

They will ignore this story like they ignored Ron Paul.
