We’ll Cut Spending After We Build That Bay Bridge in Arizona

Hi folks its Mike Church with todays Church Doctrine.

Well well, that certainly didnt take long. Tea Party backed members of the newly minted 112th Congress have already buckled from the pressure of their leadership to vote to raise the national debt ceiling in late February or early March. But dont worry about that spending increasing because Allen West, Rand Paul, Jeff Flake, Pat Toomey and Mike Lee will extract future concessions on spending they tell us. Yes, and someday there may actually be water enough in the Arizona desert to build that  bridge across it.

Now being the  adults that they are, Republicans have convinced themselves that the expensive and expansive functions of todays federal government are seemingly all legitimate and more importantly REQUIRED otherwise our country may descend into anarchy and chaos, thus the debt ceiling must be raised. This is a nice view to hold if you happen to work at the DEA or NEA or NAC or DOE or other other DOE but are these agencies and their attendant responsibilities ACTUALLY required?

The hundreds of thousands of you that have taken the Founders Red Pill will shout No and are thus justified in the sense of betrayal you will soon feel to the men mentioned above. Fortunately for them the rest of the sheople are busy watching the NBA and NFL.
