Hi folks its Mike Church with todays Church Doctrine.

On this day in history, 07 June, 1776 Richard Henry Lee strode to the center of Independence Hall and in his trademark, eloquent, fashion presented to the Continental Congress what would become known as The Lee Resolution. Most historians ignore this most important of all American historical events in favor of promoting Jeffersons lofty preamble, both statements are contained in the same document: The Declaration of Independence. Yet, Jeffersons prose has little to do with Independence and Lees has everything to do with it, so why the disconnect?

The short answer is that instead of promoting a continent of fiercely independent states, each pursuing their own destinies and in some things confederating together, which the Lee Resolution and the Spirit of 76 would inspire Americans to do all the way up until 1865; promoting Jeffersons All men are created equal life liberty and the pursuit of happiness inspires collectivism and were all in this together, forever, indivisible thinking. The men who wrote and signed the Lee Resolution into law would be shocked to see this transformation of individual states into one nation.

That a plan of confederation be prepared and transmitted to the respective Colonies for their consideration and approbation.

There are a growing number of patriots today who believe that our current political problems would be more easily solved if we knew more about Richard Henry Lee and his Resolution and less about Jeffersons being created equal.
