Halloween (October 31st) is connected with All Saints Day (November 1st) and All Souls Day (November 2nd). These three days are the “Days of the Dead,” a triduum also known as Allhallowtide or Hallowmas, reminding the faithful of the reality of heaven and hell; the communion of saints; and our obligation to pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

• You have to have Faith, Hope, Charity and to avoid sin. All of these are in scripture as well.
• To do this good thing and to avoid that bad thing.

• He is telling us we can be cast into the fire.
• The Thief on the Cross – he publicly professed Jesus Christ on the cross so he confessed with his lips.

• The Shape was the original name, not Myers.
• The Shape stops committing the killing when the mask is taken off.
• The thing in “Halloween” is usually referred to as Michael Myers, the name of the young boy in the opening. However, that’s not how Nick Castle is credited. He’s listed as playing “The Shape.” What is a shape? It is form without matter. A circle has the same nature, whether rendered in wood, ink, smoke, or mathematical notation. Thus, the Shape in “Halloween” is some form or reality that can materialize in many different ways, but always with the same nature.
• This is actually a ‘Catholic’ movie.
• This article is a great read I just don’t think it went far enough.
• “The point of “Halloween” is that there is no point. The Shape doesn’t have any larger agenda or recognizably human motivation, no trauma in its past, no failure of education; it is simply and purely evil. You can’t counsel it, medicate it, heal it, or kill it. Such is the case with all human evil. You can’t “kill” evil or remove it from society. All you can do is be aware of it, recognize it for what it is, and do your best to keep it at bay.”
• Demons hate people that pray.
• They truly hate the rosary and those that pray the rosary.
