vwqu33r on February 12, 2017 I don’t intend to imply that it’s on the same level, but 10 years ago on this day February 11, 2007 something I’ll forever believe to be a miracle also occurred. My daughter, and now Angel Bryn; who had pneumonia we later learned, was transported via the Critical Care team to Children’s Hospital where they “lost her” two times enroute. Once at Children’s we “lost” her twice more. After getting her up to the MS/ICU, and while waiting in the waiting room on the MS/ICU floor, we met a Catholic Nun, Sister Carlotta who asked us if we’d like to pray with her. I broke down and told her that I probably couldn’t pray with her because I didn’t go to church, I was a “bad Catholic” etc. etc. She told me none of that mattered in the least, but if I wanted to pray with her, we could certainly do that. My husband and I did, and that was the first day of the nearly 21 months that we got to have with my special and most awesome daughter. I remember the story of Bernadette from Catholic school as a child, but I don’t think I ever knew the day was February 11th. As I said though, I don’t mean to imply that my story is on the same level, but that being said, I know in my heart and am absolutely convinced that based on everything that happened to Bryn after that day, God intervened. We were blessed with a miracle of sorts; an additional 21 months with one of the strongest people (my 12 yo, at the time) amazing, special needs Hero, aka my little girl Bryn. Log in to Reply
