Caller Lucas: Everything Can Be Fixed With Term Limits ClintStroman

Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Audio – “Term limits”, one of the most clichéd “solutions” to our problems in Government.  Well it’s not really a solution because who’s going out and voting for the corruptocrats every 2 or 4 years? You are. We are. Term limits don’t matter because the people spending the money, the lobbyists, the assistants, the corporations, are still there and still corrupt. But Lucas seems to think this is the ultimate solution to all of our problems and everything will simply fix itself if everyone is just elected for one term. Check out the rest in today’s audio highlight…

Absolutely correct. But my FB friends refuse to admit they are the problem. Term limits are another example of the few wishing they could control the masses. What if we had a Washington, Adams,or Jefferson in congress, and we liked him? And if he had only 8 years to persuade the country to the good….. Ron Paul was in congress how many years, because his district believed in his message of freedom. Term limits are the most absurd idea, but most sheople have gotten that message. Apparently Lucas is just catching on to the (r)epublic ideals.

Dallon, thanks for all your comments, keep them coming! I think Lucas heard “[r]epublican” and thought we were a group that says the Pledge over and over!

Maybe a repeal of the 17 th as well as at the least a more representative government not the 1 per 700,000 + lobbyist, corruption loving mess we have today, then talk term limits. Until then only the names change the games remain.
