I Agree with you, Dude. I use the term “ELECTIVE RETARDATION”. The bulk of the people nowadays choose to stare at the shadows on the wall safe inside their cave. Maybe Socrates knew there would be television. Mike, the inhabitance of this continent, and elsewhere, think we are disturbing the the game of ‘guess the shadow’. They have elected to remain bound and would never go into the sunshine and look at all the beauty in this idea of freedom. And we, the awakened, can not return to the cave and be content playing the game, as Plato put it. Tis a sad day when the slumbering won’t get up and come to the table for the feast.
