Christians: The “Gay”, Lesbian, “Bishop” Joke’s on You

todayJuly 17, 2016 6

Background

Mandeville, LA – At the dawn of the Protestant “Reformation” in England, St Thomas More said of Henry VIII: “If my head should win him a castle in France”, he told his son-in-law Roper, “it should not fail to go.” More did not know at the time that his reverent devotion to the Catholic Magisterial teaching on the Sacrament of Marriage would cost him his head and with it’s loss, set in motion 500 years of decline in moral orthodoxy and ascendant heresy. That decline has now resulted in the tragedy-comedy that Protestantism has become as the “Western Methodist Church” elects its first openly gay (lesbian), female “Bishop” the “Reverend” Karen Oliveto. But wait, that’s just the opening act in this comedy of heresies and outright apostasy. From the “pulpit” Oliveto told the congregation: ““I think at this moment I have a glimpse of the realm of God. I want to thank the candidates who I have journeyed with these past few days, for the grace with which we walked with each other. And know I stand before you because of the work and prayers of so many, especially those saints who yearned to live for this day, who blazed a trail where there was none, who are no longer with us, and yet whose shoulders I stand on.”

Yeah? name ONE Saint, just ONE who “yearned for this day”. Then again, does it really matter to today’s “Christians” what actual Church history and the lives of the Saints tells us about the path to sanctifying Grace? Does the concept of being in a state of Grace cross the minds of today’s do it yourself moral code-ists? Does the concept that the moment one falls out of this state of Grace that God provides for us is that it becomes the most important thing to resolve upon the occasion of death and the penalty of eternal damnation? It is impossible to conceive this concern is even an archaic memory while viewing the hideous apostasy of Oliveto and the Methodists, i.e. God and his Magisterium can go pound sand. Were there revelers at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando that followed or were influenced by Oliveto and the Methodist Church’s heretical teaching on homosexuality? Does the near-certain loss of those souls to Mammon matter to the boosters of ostentatious homosexuality? Ditto the same question in Nice France and to put a finer point on it, ask the same question and replace Oliveto with Henry VIII. If there is no do it yourself catechism pioneered by Henry there is no Methodist Church. Are the consequences of heresy not responded to because of concerns over popularity acts of Christian Charity or are they acts of sin against Charity?

Let us first establish what it is that the Catholic Church actually teaches about homosexuality:

Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.

Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.

Living as an openly “gay” person means, by definition, defining your personality by the sexual acts you commit. If there was any residual Grace in this fallen world of ours, controlling sanity among Christians, we might expect to see it in the Christian leadership, instead we see the opposite. It is beyond time to begin demanding that those practicing these diabolical, heretical acts, stop terming themselves as “Christians”. They are not disciples or followers of Our Lord or his teaching on natural law and their authority is being abused at the expense of souls “falling into hell like snowflakes”. In Persona Humanæ Blessed Paul VI addressed whether those in Christian orders can be avowed homosexuals:

“In the pastoral field, these homosexuals must certainly be treated with understanding and sustained in the hope of overcoming their personal difficulties and their inability to fit into society. Their culpability will be judged with prudence. But no pastoral method can be employed which would give moral justification to these acts on the grounds that they would be consonant with the condition of such people. For according to the objective moral order, homosexual relations are acts which lack an essential and indispensable finality. In Sacred Scripture they are condemned as a serious depravity and even presented as the sad consequence of rejecting God. This judgment of Scripture does not of course permit us to conclude that all those who suffer from this anomaly are personally responsible for it, but it does attest to the fact that homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered and can in no case be approved of.”

Paul VI was being diplomatic when you contrast the same teaching, taken from a Saint from the Ages of Faith named St Peter Damian. In his “Letter 31” To Pope Leo X, Saint Damian makes it clear that the then-current epidemic of homosexuals infiltrated inside The Church must be dealt with authoritatively and with urgency:

That Those Who Are Addicted to Impure Practices Should Be neither Promoted to Orders nor, if Already Ordained, Be Allowed to Continue. On the other hand. it seems to me to be utterly preposterous for those who are habituated to the filth of this festering disease to dare present themselves for orders, or to remain in them if already ordained. It is clearly contrary to reason and opposed to the canonical decrees of the Fathers. I state this, not to render a definitive opinion in your august presence, but only to make my own position clear. It is not without cause that this shameful deed is considered to be the worst of crimes, seeing that Almighty God is always read to have detested it; even when he had not yet curbed other vices, he already kept condemning this one with the precepts of the Law, under pain of the strictest penalty. Passing over the fact that with sulphurous fire from heaven he destroyed the two eminent cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and all the surrounding country-side[.]

Read the whole “Letter 31” for an eye popping comparison to the treatment Oliveto and other “Christian” heretics are receiving for their openly “shameful deeds”. Where is the Holy Father and Oliveto’s own geographical bishop to deliver desperately needed doctrinal and Dogmatic correction? If the prelate’s will not take action then the laity have a Charitable duty to respond. Consider this a humble submission to that end. Failure to do so further reduces Christianity to the “shameful” joke it is becoming and the joke is on us.

Mike, unfortunately there are rogue elements within the United Methodist Church who are doing whatever they wish. I suspect there will be a schism. The ultimate plan is to invade the Church from within and bring it down. Once all sin is seen as normal, there will be no reason to believe in the higher power.

And schism from a schism is what? That’s the point, there will be no end to schisms so the “teaching” isn’t a teaching but a moving target driven by the desires and opinions of men.

You mean pastor x from the local mega-church did not receive divine revelation negating all previous and other Christians? I was told that once you ask Jesus into your heart inside a “gospel based” church you are saved. Christ then drives the salvation bus over to where you are and all you have to do is ride it all the way to heaven. It even has child locks so there is no way to get off, even if you want to.

Of course this is defied by the example of Christ himself who lived doing works until his last breath when the 4th cup was passed and he exasperated “it is finished”.

The methodists will follow the episcopalians down the road to perdition. They will soon declare islam to be a parallel path to heaven and then affirm thier belief in “good feelings” as the pinacle of morality.
What a sad state of affairs. Are their enough rosaries left to pray for deliverance?
