JTWilliams on November 2, 2012 indeed, the reasons for the electoral college today are the exact same reasons we have it in the first place. how about our union of states, or better…how about secession? the US might as well break up into 3 or 4 (or more) countries, as people seem to have significant differences on te way they view government. why force 310 million diverse human beings into such conformity? Ill tell you why: the crook sin Mordor in the Potomac know they sit at the levers of power of the most powerful state in the history of the world! Men are too fallible to be given the economic and military power associated with our modern superstate. AFter Vietnam, the politicians learned to conceal the carnage from the people, as much as possible (who knows how many have really been killed since 2001). With drones (talk about terror), they can now kill people all around this small globe without threat to life and limb. Dont cry, America, when foreigners strike out against your foreign servicemen- it’s the only operatives that the “terrorists” can reach out and touch Log in to Reply
