It’s Official, America: Welcome to Your New Country, Leshomohedoninica™

Mandeville, LA – Like Nixon without Cronkite, can America lose her “Christians”? In the abstract the answer is of course no, for she would no longer be America but more likely be called Leshomohedoninica™. This reflects the “public mood” over “moral issues” that the Gallup Organization says have gone decidedly “Left” (I will comment in a future essay on the folly of evil and error being either Left or Right- MC). This survey shows that near super-majorities of Leshomohedonist™s are promoters of same-sex sodomy – 63% – but don’t worry the same hedonists reserve their and their children’s “straight” rights to pre-marital sex and the kids it produces by 61%. But wait, like a bad TV infomercial, there’s more. Since 2001 the number of morally upright Leshomohedonist™s who now support bigamy/polygamy has more than DOUBLED (from 7% to 15%). Surely the reign of Emperor Nero has finally been eclipsed, all hear vox de perversum populi! How long before the Gallup poll takers elect their own ersatz Emperor Nero, fully expecting him to become food for the judgement porn mob while the mob plays home versions Nero’s “lifestyle choices” game; such as:

“He corrupted free-born boys and seduced married women; he even forced himself on the Vestal Virgin Rubria. He almost married the freedwoman Acte, after bribing some ex-consuls to swear on oath that she was of royal birth. Most Leshomohedonist™ Christian soldiers, marching onward as to bordellos, will of course deny that they know anyone who thinks the way Gallup’s 1,064 respondents thought at the time of the survey and like the morbidly obese fat man who denies his condition by wheeling his “Hovaround” to the bakery department at Wal-Mart and buys 2 dozen “sugar free” donuts, death is assured. Whether it is mortua tua corpus by clogged up arteries or mortem de animus to Arlene who is actually Arthur walking the lounge in clog heels, the result is the same: eternity is lost. It should go without saying, which means it must be said, that the man who cannot conceive that abortion and birth control are grave, sinful offenses against the God who blessed Man with the power to create the live-birth, sinfully aborted, cannot conceive of eternity either. Why? Because acknowledging eternity beyond science fiction movies acknowledges a being to live in eternity, we call it the soul. Consider the dreadful state of our soul’s moral affairs as represented in the aforementioned Gallup survey.

You see, the average Leshomohedonist’s™ view on the sanctity of human life is  represented by an embarrassing 45% who now favor Doctor assisted murder of the soon to be born; not to worry, says the average modern-Leshomohedonist™ hedonist, because that archaic beacon of light (formerly shining a bit brighter) has given way to the neo-fashionable view that animal life is what is really precious and in need of human protection. That Leshomohedonists™ prefer testing new skin dissolving acid baths on babies for the “convenience” of the mother but do not prefer testing shampoos on animals foreshadows that very soon shampoos won’t need to be tested since monkeys and barbarians don’t bathe. Pity that the morbid news about babies will not motivate the average Leshomohedonist™ stockholder but the news of revenue losses from declining shampoo sales will.

All this was prophesied to us by Pope Leo XIII, Pope St Pius X & XI and Our Lady at Fatima. Pius XI correctly predicted what Communism, rightly understood would lead Man into writing in Divini Redemptoris:

“This modern revolution, it may be said, has actually broken out or threatens everywhere, and it exceeds in amplitude and violence anything yet experienced in the preceding persecutions launched against the Church. Entire peoples find themselves in danger of falling back into a barbarism worse than that which oppressed the greater part of the world at the coming of the Redeemer… This all too imminent danger, Venerable Brethren, as you have already surmised, is bolshevistic and atheistic Communism, which aims at upsetting the social order and at undermining the very foundations of Christian civilization.”

I might add that “undermining” is what coal miners in Kentucky find themselves fighting to continue because the “barbarism of bolshevisim” can be found in the minds and on the computer screens of a vast majority of  Leshomohedonists™ to say nothing of its near complete conquest of Europe. The question the not inquisitive Leshomohedonist™ must now not ask is “what to not do about it?” And the answer were it to be forthcoming would entail some sort of vague request to “put God back in the public square” as if the Almighty had ever left the premises. Gilbert Keith Chesterton closed his magnificent Orthodxy with this about the allegedly hidden from the public, God.

“Joy, which was the small publicity of the pagan, is the gigantic secret of the Christian. He [God & God in his human nature as Christ] never concealed His tears; He showed them plainly on His open face at any daily sight, such as the far sight of His native city. Yet He concealed something. Solemn supermen and imperial diplomatists are proud of restraining their anger. He never restrained His anger. He flung furniture down the front steps of the Temple, and asked men how they expected to escape the damnation of Hell. Yet He restrained something. I say it with reverence; there was in that shattering personality a thread that must be called shyness. There was something that He hid from all men when He went up a mountain to pray. Praying in public that God has mirth these days is probably futile since our anemic, modern-language skills are likely to cause most to think God to be an incense maker and while he certainly made all the matter that incense is made from I doubt he will find any humor in the Gallup poll or in being accused of stocking shelves at Ali’s Incense Emporium. I will return once again to the Holy Father Pius XI who prescribed the perfect medicine for this sickness. It is of course with great prejudice that I quote the Holy See for I do not question his divine appointment as the vicar of Christ on earth per the lineage of St Peter. In this encyclical he IS infallible and if I were to remove the term “Catholic” and “Pope” from the following and replace them with “Christian” and “Republican nominee” they would be met with the embrace of the faithful. A faithful that turns for answers to those whose corruption and slow acceptance of bolshevism we are presently lamenting. And that reveals all one needs to see as the singular, irrefutable error of LesHomoHedoninica.

“At the same time the State must allow the Church full liberty to fulfill her divine and spiritual mission, and this in itself will be an effectual contribution to the rescue of nations from the dread torment of the present hour. Everywhere today there is an anxious appeal to moral and spiritual forces; and rightly so, for the evil we must combat is at its origin primarily an evil of the spiritual order. From this polluted source the monstrous emanations of the communistic system flow with satanic logic. Now, the Catholic Church is undoubtedly preeminent among the moral and religious forces of today. Therefore the very good of humanity demands that her work be allowed to proceed unhindered.

Those who act otherwise, and at the same time fondly pretend to attain their objective with purely political or economic means, are in the grip of a dangerous error. When religion is banished from the school, from education and from public life, when the representatives of Christianity and its sacred rites are held up to ridicule, are we not really fostering the materialism which is the fertile soil of Communism.? Neither force, however well organized it be, nor earthly ideals however lofty or noble, can control a movement whose roots lie in the excessive esteem for the goods of this world.”
