The Post Farewell Show Report-Day 1 The Good and Disappointing

todayOctober 27, 2015 5

Background

Mandeville, LA –  At the end of day that much of the SiriusXM listening public learned of the Mike Church Show’s demise I have some GREAT news to report and some rather chilling news:

1. We have fielded a very nice amount of offers to assist in the fundraising needed to get Remnant off the ground, THANKS!
2. Of the 2,000 NEW Founders Pass members needed to make Remnant possible we have reached double digit percentages, it’s a marvelous start and I am overwhelmed and humble: THANK YOU (but still a long way to go).
3. It is disappointing to report that of the dozens and dozens of authors, publishers, politicians and others the Mike Church Show hosted as guests, promoted the wares of and counted as on-air colleagues, save for 2 notable examples, no “colleagues” have offered a word of thanks, condolence or offer of assistance. I conclude that either camp 1 & 2 or crocked out of their brains or camp 3 is not worthy of serving the not-crocked brains via my future endeavors. Still, I am humbled and thankful for camp 1 & 2 and in search of new camp 3’ers.

    Mike,
Thank you for all you have taught me over the years. I love winning arguments with people who have not had the benefit of learning the history of our union from the Mike Churh Show.
Looking forward to hearing you again on the new platform.

Best wishes and prayers for you in your new endeavor.

Dear Mike. Herewith come my best wishes for every success on your new venture with Remnant Radio. For the past few years I’ve been on of those 13 listeners you suspected were out there. You have helped strengthen my faith after returning to Mother Church years ago.

One bright spot (for me) in all this. I no longer have to roll out of bed at 0400 hours weekdays. Looking fwd to 11 Nov as a founding member.

If it weren’t for Wilkow, I would have cancelled my subscription to SXM after hearing the news yesterday. Hopefully, he is one of the ones who did offer his condolences. Regardless, I am now a pass member, and I look forward to listening to the “new” old show again. Side note: Philosophia Perennis with Brother Francis is currently available on an 8GB flash drive for $239.00 with free shipping.

I wish XM/Sirius well, but your show was the only reason I kept subscribing. Don’t really care for the rest of it. I’m one of the number in camp 2 and will happily be there to support this new launch.

    Mike,

You have been, and will continue to be, a Polaris in the talk radio night. Your show goes beyond the ephemeral “news” which occupies listeners attention but does not safely guide him on the journey home. It has been a pleasure to watch you and your show grow intellectually and spiritually over the years.

The only reason I had continued to subscribe to Sirius was your show. I cancelled my subscription yesterday and told them to specifically note that it was due to their cancelling of your show.

As far as “colleagues” go, at least you know who your friends are among them. To quote Shakespeare ” Words are easy, like the wind; Faithful friends are hard to find.” I think Aristotle said that if you have one true friend you are more blessed than most men. I would venture to say that you have beaten the odds.

I will continue to follow you on your new channel.

    Keep the Faith.

    Regards,

    Rick

Dear Mike – You have been directly responsible for the conversions of many souls by your efforts. Never mind any earthly thanks for it, you have earned a place in Heaven (if you don’t go in screw it up in however many years left God has given you). You were the only reason that I and thousands of others listened to that otherwise Godless and hedonistic radio station, and I will be canceling my subscription to them. Just got my Founders Pass to listen to you on Remnant Radio. We wish you the best with Remnant Radio, and hope you know of the great Christian army out there praying for your success.

    Dear Mike,

Thanks be to G-d for leading me to your doorstep all those years ago. And to those of you who depended on Mike to promote yourself or your ideas without the wherewithal to show an expression of gratitude, shame on you.

Mike, thanks for your years of wisdom and knowledge with sirius as your vehicle of delivery. I would not miss your show as long as you are still broadcasting no matter where you must go to do it. If I hadn’t purchased a sirius lifetime membership years ago I would be cancelling that monthly membership immediately in pure protest of the eliminination of what is the only show that truly sees what is going on behind the wizards curtain in this country. Thanks again for your years of hard work and preparation and sacrifice that it required. I am looking forward to your new communication path. Sincerely, Clint B.

    Mike,

It doesn’t matter how (Sirius or Crusade) I am able to continue listening but just the fact that I can.
I will remain a subscriber, and in fact will purchase a founders member pass for a relative to help in your endeavor.

Godspeed to you and I pray for your success and blessings.

PS – Now “Get back to bashing Obama.” Just kidding….not really.
