When Title IX was passed in 1970 – government can’t fund anything for a gender specific endeavor unless it funds BOTH genders.

• Title IX is a federal civil rights law in the United States of America that was passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972.
• All sex based programs must be funded equally or based upon the distribution of attendance by sex. Now that universities are increasingly attended by women (a 55-45% majority) the majority of majors and other funding within universities ate focused on women.
