The Greatest Gun Rights Video In the History of Gun Rights Videos Is Just More “Rights” Propaganda

Background

Mandeville, LA – OK, 117,000,000 have forwarded, tagged me, guilted me into watching the “greatest defense of the 2nd Amendment in history” video, by Delegate Nick Freitas. I have watched the video and yes, Delegate Freitas is filled with the spirit of the Holy gun, is charismatic and convincing. But there is absolutely NOTHING new in this argument that hasn’t been written or said 117,000,000 times before.

Are the Democrats duplicitous charlatans on “gun rights”? of course. So what? identifying the political opportunism of Democrats doesn’t even approach the issue. His Planned parenthood NRA analogy is valid but again, that’s a political maneuvering issue and says nothing about the incubator of God defying evil, public schools have become.

See and listen to the Virginia, Constitution Ratifying Convention in the Spirit of ’76 and learn the REAL intent of the U.s. Constitution AND what its opponents feared it would produce.

That the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (sans discussion of amending it or conforming militia to it) can be the subject of a debate in the Virginia Assembly should itself be the cause of alarm. Section XIII of the 2013 Amended VA State Constitution reads.

“Section 13. Militia; standing armies; military subordinate to civil power. That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; that standing armies, in time of peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty; and that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.”

Note that nowhere in the VA Constitution is there an expressed right of the individual to self-defense save for “defen[ding] a free state”.

Draw your own conclusions on the VA document but note it is deficient and relies on the same language as the Federal Constitution. Thus the warped interpretation of the U.S. Constitution Bill of Rights incorporated against the states, errantly reigns supreme in Virginia’s positive act. This is a scandal that needs correction. What does Delegate Freitas say about that?

Not once does he even approach the ultimate cause of the violence: the wholesale flight away from The Faith and its now legally imposed absence from public lives.

I think Delegate Freitas is sincere in his beliefs and convincing in that particular forum. But that’s as far as it goes.
