Mandeville, LA – Mike Church’s daily Pile of Prep, chock full of the latest [r]epublican news, reading selections and Mike’s take on the dawning of the age of restitution, that Americans, like it or not, will have to endure for the bellicosity of our past & current foreign policy. Read along with Mike’s historical viewpoint to help make sense of it all plus other [r]epublican stories used to perform the Mike Church Show on Sirius/XM Patriot channel 125. “The Declaration neither obligates nor binds Court or Congress in any way—as American statesmen specify repeatedly in the period running from 1790 through 1820. Moreover, the notion that the Declaration was designed to have one meaning in its own time and another one today, sometimes the doctrine of President Lincoln, goes against everything that we know about human nature in that it imagines Christian men obliging their children and grandchildren to conduct vast and potentially dangerous social and political experiments that they are unwilling to see attempted in their own time and place.” – M.E. Bradford, Reading *& Understanding The Declaration
Spyin’ Eyes Shockuh: FISA Court judges, not surprisingly, believe issuing “warrants” to OK illegal searches and monitoring of Americans–scratch that-the entire known universe–is going swimmingly well and should suffer no changes
SHOCKING VIDEO: “Devil Baby” attacks deserving New Yorkers– has Beazlebub finally gotten his progeny into our world and on YouTube!?
ObamaCare’s reign of terror has just begun. The “success” of the plan thus far=6 Million impoverished & tormented. But look at the bright side, they are about to get lots of company with but 25 million more to go (this year)

Thursday Pile of Prep TheKingDude
The Historical Writings of John Fiske, The American Revolution. If you are prepping for the upcoming pop quiz from my friends at Franklin’s Opus, on Valley Forge, this is a good start
The counter-argument presented by John taylor of Caroline AFTER the government’s lawyer, Wickham, presented his case for the tax. I did not include this in the Carriage Tax Pamphlet but have found it online. Begin reading on pg 423.
John Yoo produced a memo for President B usb 43 that purported to make a Constitutional case for the President’s unilateral war making powers. This essay is the best, most detailed, historical answer to Yoo’s ridiculous and destructive argument, used by Bush and now Obama Download
Mad About Yoo by Stuart Streichler
An Englishman, James Spence, wrote a book in November of 1861 that argued the case FOR secession and AGAINST the Union’s case. His reflections on the usefulness of union are profound
Washington Irving was a writer without equal, who felt compelled to biography his namesake. This “Student Edition” of his 5 volume bio of Washington is just thrilling to read.
Paoul Anderson’s tale of time travel is an insightful reminder that our ancestors were as smart if not smarter than we are and in complete control of their technology
There’s no better long form reading project than getting familiar with John Taylor of Caroline’s “Tyranny Unmasked” quite possibly the best tract ever written on the subject of what he called “protection” but what we call “corporatism”
What did the English think of the North’s ridiculous claims that the Confederate States 1. Could not secede 2.Were never sovereign & Independent and 3. Were justified in their defense of themselves? Read all about it, start on p. 650
H.L. Mencken is worth reading on many topics but especially on Gettsyburg, you will find his entire critique of Lincoln’s “Gospel” beginning on page 173
The biography of Albert Gallatin is worth knowing and this “American Statesman” book on him is a good start John Taylor of Caroline was the most influential [r]epublican voice of his day and his work remains as necessary reading.
This essay by the great Joseph Stromberg, first published in 1982, explains Taylor’s [r]epublicanism and libertarian thought, unlike any other American of his time
S.J. Quinn’s The History of Fredericksburg, VA is a most thrilling historical walk through 18th & 19th century American history &b includes episodes from 1776, 1798 and 1861
One of the most accomplished yet little known Founder AND Christian Gentlemen was John Randolph of Roanoke, I am researching him for reference and for a good volume on his life to republish, this one is rare and good [/private]
What happens when the Roberts Court upholds an obviously unconstitutional act, say ObamaCare, and then someone brings suit against the parts of the act like say the inequality of the subsidy (tax) provisions? Another federal court must then uphold that part of the act thereby insuring that once a federal act becomes SCOTUS approved the people who oppose it are doomed to live in it’s tyranny – The only way out of ObamaCare is an Article V Amendment to abolish it, Medicare & Medicaid or secession
Have you heard the word of God today? The millennial generation is fleeing organized religion by the tens of millions but the ones that stay are asking for a deeper, more traditional liturgy-read the Extraordinary Mass & attendant sacramental rites- but where will they find such “relics” when the Catholic Church has catered to its Protestant antagonists for 50 years and has few priests that even have knowledge of the Extraordinary Mass?
TODAY’S GUEST GOVERNOR GARY JOHNSON: Gary Johnson continues to campaign for the liberties he promoted during the 2012 Presidential campaign including the ridiculous “reforms” to be proposed by President Obama tomorrow.
FLASHBACK: Gary Johnson, candidate for Presidnet of the United States, appeared on the Mike Church Show
DeceptiCONNED: House GOP sinks its teeth into $1.1 TRILLION spending bill that makes government(unproductive) work more profitable, restores military spending to pre-sequestration levels and sends billions to Europe for “missile defense”. Why are we paying for the defense of sovereign European countries, 70 years after WWII!?
DeceptiCONNED II: Over at Townhall.com, Maria Shriver’s “Report on Women”, which is heavy in government solutions to alleged problems, is attacked for its cry to grow government yet the DeceptiHACK writing the hatchet job refers us to a piece that admits to smaller problems AND “targeted [government] assistance programs”!
Media hacks lose it in reporting on “net neutrality” ruling that basically says the Feds and FCC do NOT own the copper cables the internet travels over nor do they own the servers it is transmitted through…wait, this sounds like.. a FREE market!? Judging by the reaction from the socialists at FoxNews.com, yep, we might see some bandwidth carved out for those who will pay for it (kinda like cable TV)
The Senate’s lone (admitted) Socialist, Bernie Sanders, is drafting a letter demanding that “the Sunday News Shows: devote more time to climate change coverage. Apparently Sanders has not kept up with the 2009 news cycle that showed a decade long cooling trend which is now ramped up and headed toward a “little ice age”
Sanders may want to read Clive Best’s latest study on the causes of the 100k year ice age cycle which is certainly looking more and more like the cosmos having its way with the Earth and its puny humans, self obsessed over naturally occurring gasses, when the answer lies right in front of their Hubble telescope’s nose
Now you’re talking: Jeremy Lott thinks it would be a Good idea for Republicans to admit the Iraq War was a mistake. Of course this would mean that the old “Hawk” guard would switch places with Ron Paul as party gadfly but that’s a welcome change we and our children can embrace
Patrick J Buchanan: If the Iranians can assist us in the struggle for peace in the simmering cauldron of the Middle East then we should welcome their alliance like we welcomed Stalin’s Russia against Hitler’s Nazis
3 researchers prove what I have been telling listeners for years: Any “study:” can be rigged to produce the desired results, e.g. “The Acme NGO studied the habits of the blonde haired poor living in less than 800 sq ft and determined…. further study and monitoring by Acme is advised.” There is no wrong answer only a call to waste more resources on scientific make-work
I just finished watching Jeremy Scahill’s shocking film “The Dirty War” chronicling the rise of JSOC and the Obama “kill-list”. Scahill has written a follow-up to the film and as he lamented the “war on terror” is no longer a war so much as it is an executive policy decision on who lives and who dies
Thank goodness for Glen Beck (*satire*), leading the way in “talk radio”. Many of you are fond of pointing out that what I do on this site and on the Mike Church Show is ridiculed as “radical” and “destructive” sometimes we have even heard “treasonous”. Then 3-4 years later my POV becomes acceptable and the usual suspects swoop in to make millions and take all the credit. Now Beck purports to be the oracle of a new wave in talk-radio where “the titans of talk radio…have had it with the GOP” and that’s “a new wave”. I will let the long time listener and reader deconstruct this for what it is but I am a little upset that Beck doesn’t consider his colleagues on SiriusXM Patriot as “titans”
Congressman Walter Jones is one of the few bold, yet humble statesman left inside Mordor and he shows it e.g. “If a single American had died in Libya’s bombing I would have filed several articles of impeachment against the President.”
AG Eric Holder sends letter to all public schools demanding they stop enforcing policies that land criminals, committing crimes in schools, to law enforcement and instead handle these altercations in the principal”s office
Nomocracy in Politics: The great Clyde Wilson explains who Thomas Jefferson was and why he is not as popular today as he once was
Dear Leader Chairman MaObama parachutes into Raleigh’s RTP to promise our government will be more like Germany’s and keep building and funding “enterprise centers” to foster innovation. As if, where there is a profit to be made, innovation doesn’t happen when Big Brother doesn’t promote it
Wrist slap: Senator McCain is “censured” by the Maricopa County GOP for violating “Party values” something McCain does do but please, the war party FOLLOWS mcCain on all the wrong issues too
What REALLY happened when Hayek released his great work “The Road to Serfdom”? This essay explains in great detail that the battle royale between the “progressive liberals” and the “classical liberals” began
NOMOCRACY IN POLITICS II: Kevin Gutzman reviews the new book “The Age of Strict Constructionism” by Peter Zavodnyik. The book covers the rarely discussed fact that the Constitution is what failed the Southern States and thus the Union by the election of Lincoln. Gutzman concludes “For all its flaws, Zavodnyik’s account of this crucial development is worth reading.”
LATIN PHRASE OF THE DAY: Est pii Deum et patriam diligere – It is part of a good man to love God & country
FLASHBACK to “Times That Try Mens Souls”, Mike’s latest feature length docudrama – The Widow Who Saved The Revolution, who was she? the mystery is finally revealed. This woman took the Hessian Colonel Donop into her home of Dec., 23rd and kept him there until December 27th, long enough to prevent him reinforcing Trenton, NJ and squashing Washington’s Crossing Cell Mates Snowden & Clapper!?
