Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Video and Audio – If you thought 2013 was going to be bad, just go back 100 years to where it all started in 1913: Woodrow Wilson is inaugurated and creates the Federal Reserve which creates the boom and bust cycle for the next 100 years, the 16th Amendment reinstated the Federal Income Tax, and the 17th Amendment made the direct election of Senators possible, putting the final nail in the coffin to states rights. Many of the ladies of the time were against this so called “progress”, too many people living too fast and too many aeroplanes in the sky. They even thought that woman’s suffrage may change some of these things but until “women could dress as comfortably as men, they best not vote” according to one lady in her diary, just imagine if someone had that viewpoint now days.
