Obama & Ryan Remake "The Right Stuff"

2011 Mike Church

Hi folks its Mike Church with todays Church DoctrineLast night during his State of the Obama takeover of America speech,

Dear Leader claimed that we have a Sputnik moment ahead of us. That we must seize the challenge presented by our current economic crisis like NASA did with Apollo and use that energy to create windmills and solar panels that are the envy of the world. Theres a number of problems with this analogy the least of which is that the conquering of space and the landing on the moon presented physical challenges which required absolute, mathematical equations to solve. Whereas a debt crisis brought on by irrational humans spending money they dont have on things that money cant solve has no absolute mathematical formula that can be applied to meet the challenge.

Now I suppose, if Obama and his Republican and Democrat cohorts wanted to apply mathematics to our economic malaise they could simply add up all the money they actually collected LAST YEAR and then plan to spend that much NEXT YEAR.

Lets try that out – Congress collected $2.3 Trillion in 2010 therefore, Congress can conquer this Moon-sized challenge by only spending $2.3 Trillion in 2011.

Something tells me we wont a movie clip of Jeff Goldblum running down a capitol hallway to the door of Speaker Boehner to exclaim in the fashion of the movie The Right Stuff Obama just balanced the budget.
