Declaration of independence didn't create a blob
TheCOMPLETE story of Franklin, Adams and Rutledge’s trip to see General Howe can be heard in Times That Try Men’s Souls, OWN IT on 2 CD set today

Mandeville, LA  – Most people probably watched President Obama address the grisly, inhuman murder of journalist James Foley and approved of the President’s promise to “seek justice” against ISIL because it sounded pretty tough. But how many of those viewers thought “wait a minute…. can Obama actually do that,… by himself!?” That’s a great question but unfortunately ninety five per cent of people are in the first category. I won’t excite you with the details but Obama doesn’t have that authority but Congress can GRANT it to him, something our elected poobahs in Mordor don’t have the time or education for. Here’s what they do have the time for: presiding over a welfare state that now has 109 MILLION users, or 35% of the population but wait, that’s only part of the story.

[/private]If we add in “means tested” welfare-takers the number rises to 153 MILLION or 50% of the population. Here’s a question: under what authority has Congress made public dependents out of half the country? Well, the same people that think Obama can avenge James Foley because “he has an army” think that Congress can avenge income disparities because “they have power from the Constitution” via “the good and plenty clause.” But there’s a problem here: the Constitution doesn’t authorize either of these activities. So let’s ask the next question: how do both of these travesties keep happening? I think I can name that song in one note: irreverence.

Take a trip to go “make groceries” and note people’s dress code, sit in heavy traffic and search vainly for courteous drivers or go view the near empty confessional at St. Patrick’s on any given Saturday and that’s what you’ll see: irreverence. But don’t worry because Football season is about to start and our new religion of reverence can be attended, “On any given Sunday.”
