Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Video and Audio – Religion should not be directly associated with politics or any political party as Rick Santorum seems to think. However, religion should be a part of politicians, and everyone else’s, lives as it informs our decisions and helps us do the right thing. One person who had it right was Dr. Martin Luther King on the Mike Douglas Show discussing the Vietnam War. He believed that the Vietnam War was unjust and so costly that no one should be fighting in it and we were on the losing end of it. And that our loyalty to our country should not be measured by our ability to kill but by our ability to lead morally.
