Mike: This is probably why Congressman Paul decided to get back into the presidential politics end of this business here, because he enjoys the challenge here, too. But let me boil this argument down here that the little Congressman, the gentle old grandfather from South Texas, Southeast Texas is unelectable. That means that the Constitution is unelectable. That’s what that means. That’s what you’re saying. Well, Mike, we couldn’t elect, we couldn’t.
So in other words, we couldn’t ratify this Constitution all you frauds out there are running around waving about and waving in my face and claiming fidelity to. Right? Couldn’t elect that. Because we all know that Tim Pawlenty and Paul Ryan are constitutional scholars of the highest, the highest import. Why, the most impeccable credentials. Yes, Pawlenty never advocated a cap-and-trade system to tax the citizens of Minnesota to exhale. Pawlenty never did any he wasn’t a fan of the bailout. Oh, wait. Did Paul Ryan vote for the bailout? Let me ask you something, geniuses. Where do you find the bailout [Australian accent] Well, they’re gonna get a bailout, aren’t they? Where do you find that in the Constitution? You going to find that in there? Mike, its under the General Welfare Clause.
Go to my website and read my write-up about the General Welfare Clause. Everything you ever wanted to know about it but were afraid to ask can be found in the Ratification Conventions where the clause was discussed and where Patrick Henry made the accusation to Mr.Madison that They’re going to use what I call implication to get their way and to render our state insignificant, said Mr. Henry. They will come in, and they will end our trial by jury, all our emollients and numerations and franchises. You can hear this in The Spirit of 76, my movie about this. But the Federalists, those guys that were promoting the Constitution, denied it. They denied all this, said no no no no no. No, no, no, that’s not what the federal document is to be used for.
Mike: I heard a most embarrassing thing yesterday. And I don’t have the audio here because I wanted to get a Special Report, which I do have. And I wanted to get Father Jonathan Morris because I think Father Morris spoke more truth in his little three minutes with Neil Cavuto yesterday than the rest of the blowhard talking heads did the entire day. But I heard you people in Ohios governor, John Kasich, basically whining and crying to Neil Cavuto that [sobbing], We need for Washington, D.C. to let us govern ourselves. We need a hall pass so we can use our own Medicaid laws. Grow a set, John. Grow a set, Governor. Are you a governor of a sovereign state or not?
I mean, folks, there has to come a point in time where somebody has just got to stand up and pull a Peter Finch here: I’m mad as hell, and Im not going to take it anymore. This idea here that the states have got to get on their knees and go begging to Mordor on the Potomac River for permission to govern themselves is preposterous. They didn’t even do that in the old Soviet Union. Oh, but were the land of the free and home of the sure we are. Sure we are. So we hear ad nauseam here. And, look, I said this yesterday. Let me repeat it. You people want to support Herman Cain or Tim Pawlenty or Newt Gingrich or whoever, hell, Barack Obama, you just go right ahead. But don’t expect me to go along with you. And don’t expect the rest of us out here to sign off on your decision. That’s your decision. That’s not ours.
Now, if you’re going to sit out there and call yourself, I’m a constitutionalists, no, you’re not. No, you’re not. Your guys regularly violate it. They violate it with impunity, and you support them. You make excuses up for them. You make excuses up for Ms. Bachmann. You make excuses up for Governor Palin and the things that she says that are patently unconstitutional. You make excuses up for these people that are apologists for the welfare state. At least there are some that say, well, yeah, these programs are probably unconstitutional, but its not politically possible to change them right now. Well, at least that’s an honest statement. And that’s what you’ll get from Candidate Paul. Well, they are unconstitutional, but its not politically possible to change it.
Why isn’t it? Because the sheeple enjoy socialism, that’s why. You’re all a bunch of little socialists out there. Hell, I’m a socialist. Were all good little socialists now. Oh, but don’t say that. Mr. Church, you’re just being mean. Now you’re just being mean spirited. We all have our crosses to bear, do we not? Yes, that’s right. Yay, Stalin. Yay, Stalin. At least in the former Soviet Union, in their constitution, they consecrated the right of secession. Yay, Stalin.
