The U.S. Titanic Will Sink Regardless of Who Rearranges The Deck Chairs
Hi folks its Mike Church with todays Church Doctrine.
2011 Mike Church
At a speech given to a Tea Party rally in Madison Wisconsin this past Saturday, Governor Sara Palin told the crowd that the new Deck Chair Party – was not sent to Mordor on the Potomac River to rearrange the deck chairs on the sinking U.S. Titanic. Frequent listeners of this commentary will have no problem recognizing that the last sentence was was filled with jargon I coined for daily use on my radio show. Governor Palin only used the rearrange the deck chairs on the sinking Titanic part of the line. When listeners pointed this out to me and implied the Governor was inspired by my verbiage I shared this with my audience.
Then all hades broke free from its GOWP moorings.
In the next 3 hours I was accused of so many ethical, moral and grammatical atrocities that an outside observer would be left wondering where they could find this Stalin guy all these folks were lobbing poison darts at.
The point that was being made though had much more to do with the Governors newfound embrace of The Founders Red pill and little r republicanism than it did with copycatting, alas, those points which were made and are being repeated here again dont seem to matter.
Whatever your take on this brouhaha the one undeniable ray of sunlight shining through is that the ACTUAL message of the Founders: Sound money, modest foreign policy, state sovereignty and a distrust of political parties is becoming talked about more and more often at the expense of the 2 party systems big government propaganda. I for one hope to hear Governor Palin promoting those principles with greater frequency and I dont care WHO gets credit for it.
