Mandeville, LA – Exclusive Transcript – Folks, you can’t escape this stuff anymore, yet no one seems to have a problem with it other than me. I’d look for this stuff. I’d look to see if anyone else posts things or writes about these sorts of things. Unless you’re looking at a Catholic blog, you don’t see it. We are so desensitized to this. It has become so normal that the female form is on display all the time, every hour of every day for everyone to see. There’s nothing demure about it any longer, nothing. Check out today’s transcript for the rest….

Mike: Congratulations, libs, nice job. I should say congratulations Gal-Qaeda. How are you liking the shoulder pads now? How do you like the situation that you’ve created where our young women, women in general, are now totally subjectified, if not outright objectified, as being worthy of nothing more than what? Being receptacles and being recipients of male body parts. The desire to do it is all over the media. As a matter of fact, do you know what I did on the way to the airport on Wednesday? I forgot to post this picture. I’m going to see if I can send it from my phone. I was on the way to the airport and I was sitting in traffic in New Orleans waiting to get to New Orleans International to leave on Wednesday.
We’re all programmed now at some level to sin. We’re programmed to be lustful, all of us, me included…
New Orleans is famous for drive-thru daiquiris. The latest billboard campaign, just to stick on the subject of modesty here for a moment and what it is that women are now presented to us ubiquitously as — as I said, they are objects of lust. The latest advertisement for a drive-thru daiquiri is a nearly-topless woman, not identified — we only get the nose on down, nearly naked on the chest, holding a daiquiri in her hand, instructing me that I should go through this drive-thru and get one. I’m looking at this going: Do I go to the drive-thru so I can go ogle her — how shall I say this so that children won’t be offended? — so that I can ogle her décolletage? Or am I going to get a cool, refreshing, alcoholic beverage at a drive-thru window?
Folks, you can’t escape this stuff anymore, yet no one seems to have a problem with it other than me. No one seeks to be demure it doesn’t seem.
Rod Dreher, writing at The American Conservative, one of the few that expresses as much outrage or concern over this. It really is a concern. Outrage is not going to cut it at this point. It’s a concern.

Consider this amazing passage [Mike: Then he links to Ms. Horowitz’s essay.]
“Ultimately, though, from where I sit in Charlottesville, to let fact checking define the narrative would be a huge mistake.”
Re-read that last sentence. It was written by a senior campus journalist, someone in training now to become a professional journalist. And she doesn’t think facts are of primary importance in the narrative. Only what is useful to the cause, it would appear.

Mike: We talked about this Saturday night at our Gentleman’s Bootcamp. This is a significant part of what the Bootcamp / Christmas Ball was all about, which was the virtues that have completely been lost and eviscerated in society. Look, it affects all of us. We’re all programmed now at some level to sin. We’re programmed to be lustful, all of us, me included, all of us. It takes hourly work, hourly prayer to not give in, to not recall what it is that you have seen and what it is that people have said in the hookup culture, apparently in the university gang rape culture.

Heaven help anyone who gets in Julia Horowitz’s professional crosshairs. And heaven help any newspaper or magazine that hires a journalist more committed to ideology than to truth and fairness.
