That is a recipe for losing your culture and losing your cohesiveness.  I can guarantee you that that’s exactly what’s going to happen.  Furthermore, I can state to you that that’s exactly what has happened.  We’re not to the point of Europe yet but we’re getting close.

On Wednesday’s show, Srdja Trifkovic mentioned this about how the Ukrainians and the Crimeans and all of the countries of Europe and Russia have serious demographic problems because they have not been bothered with and wouldn’t be bothered with the idea that they needed to continue their population.  Women can’t be bothered to have children.

They’re too busy out trying out new suits with shoulder pads in them for that fancy schmancy career so you can get the fifth flat panel television in the old home instead.  This has infected the Europeans to the point where their birthrates are below 2.1 percent.  That’s the magic number in the modern era.  A fertility rate for every eligible female of 2.1 children or live births per female is what is necessary to sustain a population.  If you want to grow the population, it has to be 2.5 or higher.  The highest birthrate in all of Europe is 1.8 percent, and the only reason that one is where it’s at is because of the Muslims that have immigrated into that country.  That poses a great threat.  That country is no longer going to be that country.  It has basically bred itself into extinction because it won’t breed.

Folks, this is why this culture of death and this culture of sexual selection is one of the threats that homosexuality poses to mankind.  Homosexuals, if just left on an island as homosexuals, cannot create their next generation.  That’s not me being a bigot.  That’s me saying what is existentially and biologically true.  Yet if you say that, [mocking] “You’re out of order!  You’re targeted, buddy.  We’ve got a target on you.”  Without the ability or even the desire to procreate, propagate, be fruitful and multiply your own society, your own civilization, your own culture, there won’t be a future culture to pass on, not that there is one now.  These things are all linked.  The idea [mocking] “We need new immigrants,” why?  What do we need new immigrants for, for what purpose?  [mocking] “Because we’re the United States and we’ve always had them.”  That was then and this is now.  You people tell me [mocking] “We don’t do things the way we used to back in the 1800s, Mike.  You need to get with the modern program.”  Okay.  Back in the 1800s when we came up with the idea and the idea was promoted that we were the melting pot of the planet and had to have all these immigrants, why can’t that idea go the way of the Edsel, the way of the dodo bird and become extinct?  Because that’s not politically correct.

You see, folks, there is one thing that modern conservative man and woman seem either unable to or unwilling to confront, deal with, and admit.  It is this, my friends: if you tolerated and enjoyed Christopher Ferrara’s interview yesterday, and I think most of you did, and the prior Christopher Ferrara interview, one part that he left out of Liberty, the God That Failed — I haven’t read the book, so it may be in there, probably is.  One thing that is left out of all of our discussions when we whine and carp about the political class and all the corruption, and I’m as guilty of it as anyone.  I do my share of it.  One thing that we leave out and we have not addressed is that when these horrific things happen to man, and as we watch them happen, all the cultural decay and the blasphemous crap, that is Him working.  That is Wormwood from The Screwtape Letters.  He’s getting his way.  It is His plan.

All God is doing is sitting back and saying: I gave you imbeciles everything you need to combat Him.  I gave you my word.  I gave you my son.  I gave you my faith.  I gave you a path to salvation.  I gave you forgiveness of sins.  What did you do?  You turned your back on me.

The one thing that all of these things have in common that we think are bad, and they are bad, is that they are the work of Him.  If you are willing to admit that and deal with that from that point of view, everything changes.  The way we look at everything changes.  It no longer becomes political.  It becomes spiritual.  For those of us of faith, we believe that there is an eternal war going on for souls.  He is waging it.  No, I’m not going to say he’s winning it because I don’t think He is, but he’s waging it.  He’s getting pretty good at it, too, in our modern conceit.  Think about that this weekend as you ponder the great things of life.
